Futurebook 2022

On the 18th November I was at the Bookseller’s Futurebook Conference to talk about Podcasting: The Missed Opportunity with Alice Sandelson from Tortoise Media, Pascal Hughes from Noiser and my colleague at Small Wardour, Carla Herbertson. As someone who started their career in the publishing industry it was great to catch up with everyone and present on something I’m so passionate about. I was always such a big advocate for podcasts during my time at Penguin Random House so I was very pleased to have the opportunity to talk more about how I think podcasts can work for publishers. I was pleased to see how receptive the audience was to our presentations - there is so much potential there! I’m now looking forward to working with some of the publishers on future projects.
